Messrs Friend and Nightingall were the Westerham auctioneers after the war. As can be seen from their advertisement in the 1950 edition of ‘Hookers Almanack’ they were also offering the services of House Agents, Surveyors, Estate Management and Valuations. Alfred Friend was a Fellow of the Incorporated Society of Auctioneers & Landed Property Agents – F.A.L.P.A.
Charlie Nightingall was a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors – F.R.I.C.S., and, as such, offered the services of Estate Agent
