Markets and fairs

The Gala on Whit-Monday finished in 1992 and will  probably never return, but Westerham people have always wanted to celebrate the summer with some sort of event, and The Green is the natural place to hold a summer fair. For several years now two events have been staged annually on The Green, being a fair to conclude the walking on the Westerham Societies ‘Beating the Bounds’ event held on May Bank Holiday, and the ‘Rotary Fair’ normally held a few weeks later.
